Lots & lots of information was given to me my my coach, they made listing suggestions to make them better. He answers a lot of questions, and is very very very encouraging.
Some Of my challenges:
A lot to learn but getting part of it figured out.
Having extremely little experience with eBay, just getting started was difficult.
Learning the system, finding products (did not have a clue before the class), getting the business started (legal), having a disappointed customer to work with and get through, having an alert on a customer -- a little trial by fire.
My advice to you is Go For It!

If I can get this going, anyone can!

Going back to "school" can be a great experience, if it's eBay school.

He is doing a great job. Josh & bryan are there when i need them. Josh answers my questions and explains so i can understand what he is telling me. This is great. Listen to your coach, read all of your home work, don't get over tired, take some time out. Have some fun!

Very Supportive

Ben is always there to answer any questions I have. He is very supportive and makes great suggestions. Just an example of why it is important to listen to your coach: I listed 14 Hummels individually in auction format, but started the bid way too high. He told me to drop the starting bid to $.99, which I did, and seven days later I had sold all 14, at awesome prices. If I hadn't listened, I'm quite sure they'd still be sitting there! THANK YOU COACH! Again, LISTEN to your coach. They are there to help, and no question seems to dumb to them. If you do what they suggest, you'll very likely succeed. I'm having the time of my life. It is so rewarding, and not just monetarily. It's exciting to watch the bidding, and very exciting when an item sells. I strive to ship the same day it sells, or the very next day. That has helped my feedback. There is still so much to learn, but every day I feel like I've conquered another challenge.

FANTASTIC!!!

I think the coaching is fantastic.I would not be ready to market my site without them.Every coach has given me a different perspective on all the facets of effective web design and marketing.I have not made much yet, but I feel very confident that I will do all right with this.All in all,I am very pleased with the advice of people like Andrew,Erika, Ryan, and Joshua. I have had to rebuild and stock my site a couple of times, but it was dealt with by myself and the coaches.They were always straight up with me whether for good or ill. I have learned so much that I don't know where to begin.My increased knowledge is my biggest success thus far,though making a great deal of money with my site would also be OK. Get ready for some hard work. They was not kidding when he said that there was nothing easy about making money on the internet. Stay focused on tasks at hand and heed the wisdom and experience of your coaches, and you will do fine!

Whatever one believes can be done!

The coaching meets my expectations. I truly feel a part of the team. I feel that everyone that I deal with wants to see me progress successfully and provides positive feedback. I'm sure by the time I complete my website, expectations will have been surpassed. I truly appreciate the efforts of Team 1A and look forward to working through multiple websites together. One challenge for me is feeling isolated and that I had to do too much on my own. I now understand why the program works that way, to make one learn better and retain, but it was a struggle for the first few lessons. It would be good to provide a little more encouragement to future students right off the bat. My biggest success was discovering my niche and creating my website banner. Also, creating the website content and overall mental awareness of how this business works is high on the list as well. The niche and research was the most difficult thus far. My two cents is to stay the course. There will be times when you want to throw in the towel and persistence is key. Whatever one believes can be done!

WONDERFUL

Ben has been wonderful. He calls when he says he will and is very helpful walking me through the process. I am a hands-on type of learner so him walking me through the different areas on E-bay is very helpful. Procrastination. Since I am given a deadline each week I am encouraged to get my homework done in a timely fashion. Knowing I have to pay the money back to start my business is a great incentive to not "drop the ball". Do what your coach tells you to do. As long as you are on the computer each day you might as well make money. I figured I would make a game out of my selling experiences to make the process more exciting. You cannot sit around and then do your homework at the last minute because it is time consuming so you cannot do it at the last minute. When I was asked to get my eBay score up to 10 I decided instead of buying penny items I would buy things that I actually could use, such as books. The ebooks are very inexpensive and they are something you can use if you are a reader. I have a new Wii so I bid on some games that looked like fun. Good luck. Now I gotta go and post some more things for sale. I am so excited now that I made my first sale. In the situation I am in I need to work from home as I am caring for my elderly parents plus running a cattle ranch with my brother. As most know ranching isn't the most profitable business these days so I need to have an income above the ranching. Working from home was really my only option. I am ready to put several more items up for bid.

It's SO worth it!

Getting to the finish was a relief; a lot of long time and effort went into making what I feel is a very beautiful site; without guidance from the coaches and the men and women in Tech Support, we would not have made it. Finding a niche was difficult; maybe we were not open minded enough, but it took longer than expected; getting good suppliers was time consuming also; I feel we are sitting well today, just need to get the sales coming in. hang in there be patient; if it is worth while doing then it will take time; the one thing i like the most is knowing I have learned so much and the site is mine to work, change, add to, or what ever else as I need to in the future

So Encouraging!

He has been so encouraging, so helpful, so patient. I wouldn't be to this point without him, and the other people that have answered my sometimes dumb questions. You just get the feeling that they really do care if you succeed, and are willing to do anything to help. I guess learning to research items to know whether they'll make money has been hard for me. Sometimes I don't have the patience to go slowly . . . I want to jump ahead without doing all the "grunt work" first. But I know that if I want to succeed, those steps are all necessary. The more time you spend in preparation of selling, the more successful you will be. Listen to your coach! There's a reason they're coaches. They've been through this process themselves, and they know what they're talking about. Don't get discouraged - hang in there, and you'll see amazing results. I have, and I'm just a beginner, but things are looking SO GOOD right now.

Really Helpful

My coach Ben has been really helpful on getting back to me and answering my questions in a timely way. He always has good words of encouragement. I have become more confident with using the computer and the internet. Listen to your coaches and make sure you go through the steps. It is all so new to me, but with the help of my coach and the focus steps I am getting a little more comfortable with the whole program. I am also excited about it all.

BIG HELP

Trent has been a big help in pointing out my weak areas, giving suggestions for improvement, providing print-outs with information, answering my questions and showing me some ways to make my listings stand out. Take time studying the tutorial steps and lessons. Be sure you have a good grasp on them before moving on. Never hesitate to ask questions. The coaches are great about answering them.

Great Help!

Ben was a great help in building our site. He helped (pushed) us step by step as what we should be doing. He was very good to critique our site and give us pointers to make it better. Because of his help we had a good experience building our website. Don't give up. Keep trying and listen to the coaches. Follow the steps as outlined. Write down the help numbers for the lightwave builder. You will need them. Ask questions if you get stuck.

Encouraging

He has kept me motivated and offered encouragement. He also helped guide me through the process of setting up my store. He helped me create a plan for my business. I didn't think I was very good at figuring out how to do things on the computer, but I guess I never really tried that hard. (eBay has made things very user friendly though.) The hardest thing for me was finding the uninterrupted time to focus and do my steps. I have two young children at home. I somehow managed though and I have learned so much along the way. This has given me confidence to try new things. After staying home with children for years, I wondered if I was even capable of doing something like this. It really was not that hard to open a store and start selling on eBay. It's been good so far. It is very easy to figure out, thanks to following the steps provided by Focus Learning Center.

Great Great Experience!!!

I have made $5,139.59 Gross Profit. My coach gave me some tips on suppliers and tips about things that have worked for her and helped in finding the "HOT" product. I have found one (see my gross in the last three days!). My goal is to find more products like that! You will get what you put into this business. Work hard, nothing is free. I have sold Electronics, household items, baby bedding, a variety of things. My experience has been great now that I found a HOT product to sell with a great profit margin!!

Great Cheerleaders!

We have made 1073.36 gross. The coaching staff continues to be our "cheerleaders" always encouraging us, providing the guidance and direction needed for us to be successful. They are a good team and we need to take full advantage of the expertise. I think the hardest thing is to stay focus on the end goal. Everyone want to make money overnight, but few do. It is a business, and it will take time/dedication to achieve success. You have to learn new business rules and how people think when they bid on item on eBay. It's a whole different game. It is not an easy process..there is a lot to learn. Listen to the coaching staff, set short and long term goals and most of all believe that you can be successful and you will be! So far our experience has been positive! We really enjoy building this business together. We invest a lot of time at garage sales and really find joy in discovering a 'gem' that we think will sell on eBay.

My experience in building was both challenging and interesting. My coach was extremely helpful throughout this entire process. He provided me the necessary knowledge and motivation I needed to accomplish my goal. Trent, you are awesome! For me, my main obstacle was just fear. Fear of not knowing what to do and when to do it. There were moments throughout the process where I felt unsure about certain issues, but I would just communicate that to my coach and we would work through them. I would encourage anyone interested in creating their own website to work with Focus. I felt my interests were vested from my personal coach to the technical support team everyone has been nothing short of stellar.

So Patient!

I have just gotten my 1st sale on eBay for a profit of $51. My coach Charity has been good to answer specific questions thoroughly, to my satisfaction, and is quite patient!!! So typical things I have had to overcome so far are just general doubts & figuring out the system. My advice to future students receiving consulting is to follow the coaches instructions!!!! Currently the item I have sold is electronics and I would say my experience with eBay has been excellent so far!

Very Responsive!!!

They have been very responsive to questions. I, on the other hand have not jumped on this opportunity as fast as I had wanted. My things have slowed me down, holidays, birthdays, illness, death, taxes and insurance. As they say, it's been raining cats and dogs. I need a little sunshine to help me regroup. Any way, that being said all have been very responsive. Make the commitment when you are sure to get through your lessons in a timely manner.

This is what I want!!

I feel that he's on the with the Lesson Plan. He is on point in our conversations. Very mature in his demeanor. I enjoy talking to him on our scheduled day. The only obstacles I have overcome is not getting an idea of eBay Buying & Selling, but now that I am working within eBay I fill more relaxed, and can go anywhere in eBay, visualize the operation(s) of the system. I am Buying and Selling now, and going through the process, it get easier. I have learned a great deal since I've came aboard. Thanks for everything. It's user free, the information, videos, what's more important is, you can go back and review any information you want. Be secure about your future in making money, and decide if this is REALLY what you want to do. Be consistent in putting quality time working on eBay, not just in a blue moon. Don't Hesitate!

GREAT COACHING

The coaching has been great so far. They never pressure me as far as deadlines or assignments. They are always there to help. Being new to the internet business, it was a challenge. However, through learning on my own, it came naturally. The coaching staff was very supportive of my ideas and suggestions. Afterwards, they offered their advice on where to go next. The support is always there when needed. No pressure at all when it comes to deadlines. Everyone is different and will go at their own pace. You can never give up. You will encounter bumps on the road; but in return, it can make one stronger. Read the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. Do this reading before starting this. Highly recommended.
