Time and Patience

All the coaches are great! One in particular, Daniel, is always available through chat or email to help me when I need it. He gives me honest feedback. Sometimes it's not what I want to hear, but at least I can trust his opinion and advice. Other than that, I am pleased with the level of professionalism and help. Being persistent was this biggest accomplishment for me. Sometimes when things are too hard or frustrating, I have a tendency to procrastinate or give up. But through this process, I have learned that if I just keep at it, I will learn what I need to know to make this work. Giving up is not an option for me. I am working on my second website. It took 4 months to do the first one, 4 weeks to complete the second one. So, you can see, it gets easier because of the new knowledge you have. My advice to future students: Patience, patience, patience! It takes time to get a website up and running. Then it takes time to market it. But most importantly, pick the right product and a supplier that will communicate with you one-on-one and who will keep you informed on the inventory.

I already had some knowledge about building websites, but not eCommerce. I can say the coaches helped me in regards to the needs of having all the pages keyword optimized for the search engines. I could see coaches were really committed to help and they really did. I feel my site doesn't show all the time I invested in it, yet I have a sense of accomplishment, and I'm eager and excited to start the marketing so I can finally start seeing the return on my investment, which of course is why I joined this coaching program in the first place. I also feel I learned a lot about drop shipping and that it might be very interesting in the future if this project turns to be a success.

I have felt supported by my coach. He is good at listening, and has also always had good insight and input into my issues.

I have overcome feelings that I have no control over my environment. Although it's a difficult one that I live in, I have seen that a change in myself has had positive effects on the person I live with; making some situations go much easier.

My biggest success has been the things that I learned in some of the videos. I found real tools that I could use, e.g. anchoring. I found that the step-by-step process was very positive towards replacing old ways with new.

I can attest that this is a very good course, with educated, positive coaches. There is help when needed; by phone or by email. The lessons are well thought out and positive!

Some of the challenges I have encountered have been trying to figure out how to ship to Canada and the Virgin Islands. Jarrett has been an excellent life coach. He has all the characteristics and structure that I believe a good teacher needs. He is organized, punctual, professional, and always prepared for our coaching sessions. He is extremely knowledgeable in personal development but very easy to talk with and able to adjust his recommendations "on the fly" as we had questions and issues. Everyday you learn something new as to how to enhance the web site and how to bring in traffic to your website. Ben (my coach) has been great in providing the correct pointers to get me started. He also provides positive feedback to help me to the creating the site pretty fast. I strongly believe it is just a matter of time before the cash starts flowing in. Trying to come up with the title for the website was the biggest hurdle. Taking the time to fit in the busy daily life and maintaining balance in life is always challenging. I would suggest to listen to your coach and pay close attention to his/her suggestions. The coach wants you to succeed and I highly recommend not to take anything personal. Learn to experiment with the information on your website and do not worry about making mistakes (Your coach is there to correct you if they really are errors). Maintaining discipline definitely produces results in the long run.

The coaching was great from day one. Jarrett (my coach) was wonderful. He always had words of encouragement and took the time to listen to what I had to say. He pretty much had answers to any question I would throw in his way. He constantly re-iterated and tried to find out if there was anything I wanted to achieve. Overall I would say it was a wonderful experience and it helped me identify things that I want to achieve that were lurking inside my mind. Practicing meditation is a big obstacle that I have overcome. As a matter of fact I am enjoying it now! Spending time alone and finish assignments was definitely challenging. Glad I got it done now. The biggest success I would claim is that I have identified the things that I need to accomplish. I am still in the process of fulfilling the things I wish to accomplish. It is a long journey and will definitely take time and effort on my part. This coaching is definitely worth it. It takes patience and dedication to get the assignments completed. If you have any questions, definitely ask your coach and he/she is there to help you. If you are facing any obstacles do not hesitate to inform your coach and last but not least do not be shy in asking what you want to achieve. When I started I didn't have clue as to how to create a website. I am very pleased with the results.The coaches were very patient with me and helped me every step of the way. The first main obstacle I had was creating the logo part of my site. I don't have any graphic art experience and had to learn from scratch. Once I started creating the store things moved along more quickly. The next obstacle was understanding the meta tags and keywords. The coaches helped me through this process also. Don't give up. When you get frustrated take a break. I found after taking a break and coming back with a fresh perspective helped me get past the difficult spots. You will be pleased with what you are able to accomplish.

It has been a very long and more time consuming than I ever thought, but Ben was very helpful and patient, and made sure that I did everything correctly. The biggest obstacle was understanding the parts of a website and how too load all that info. It took a while for me just to create the ad copy and then key it in. Ben looked over my ad copy to make sure it was quality before he would approve it.
It feels good to look at what I had created. I couldn't have done it without Ben and my team. To all future students, your coaches know what they are talking about, so listen to them and do what they say. If you are not serious about this venture, you better be serious about it, because your coaches are serious about making you successful.

My coach has helped guide me through all the basic steps in selling a product on eBay and also with improving my feed back. All of which has been very helpful to me. So far I have been able to see how to do research on a product first which has made it much easier to choose a product to sell. For someone like me that doesn't have a lot of internet experience, it took a little bit of time to get everything figured out, but it was worth every minute of my time!

With my first 2 sales on eBay I have made a good profit of $140. John has been there from the beginning walking me through how to search, to look for listings, find what listing to list under and how to leave good feedback. Basically how eBay works. My biggest obstacle has been the fear of selling something over the internet. My advice to future students is to be prepared to learn a lot of new terms and information if you are not already there to get into internet selling as a business.

Choose small items to sell on your Web Site, so that freight can be affordable. It doesn't matter what you sell, as long as it qualifies under the criteria set forth by your coach. Listen to your coaches. They really know what they are talking about. Keep moving forward. It will be worth it!

I am very confident in the abilities of all those who coached me.There were actually quite a few who helped me and some who were truly outstanding. My first coaches were Joshua and Ryan,and they were both very easy to talk to and both were great when it came to answering my many questions.My two most recent coaches were Andrew and Erika . Andrew is very much oriented to the technical minute that can make or break a site,but is also very human,and not above calling a student personally to make sure they got a concept or task correct. Erika also demonstrated great insight into people and their motivations and desires. I used several of the insights she shared with me on my site. Most of the obstacles I encountered were of a technical nature, such as adding links and repairing some of the pages on my site.Sparkbuilder is a great builder,but they need live chat to answer some of the Questions specific to the builder. Just getting a site that is mine on the internet was an enormous success. Making money with that same site would, however, would also be extremely cool. Work hard and listen to your coaches, they know what they are talking about.

I thought it was very rewarding learning how to build my own website. I am pleased to say that I am proud of the site myself. The coaches were instrumental in putting it all together with the help of Tech support. There were only a few obstacles to overcome such as nailing down just the right drop shipper, and feeling comfortable with the builder, but even these weren't that bad. Once you begin, devote at least 2-3 hrs/day to your site completion. If you miss a day then make up for it by doing 3-5 hrs the next day. You have to have your site up before you are moved to the reactive phase. There are just to many questions you'll have for "live chat" to be effective.

The coaches were very helpful. I knew NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING at the beginning of the project - as a result it took me forever to do little steps - at times i found it overwhelming and doubted my decision to work on this. I'm still way behind where i know i should be but each step the coaches were very patient and helped me baby step through it. Learning how to change picture size was a stress to figure out (shows how much i knew)
Time is a problem for us - we don't have all day to donate to the project and some weeks we don't have any time, so I've tried to work at weird hours to just get at it... the new set up is much improved and much easier to self-teach. I feel that if i can figure this out, anyone can - not that I'm done yet or anything! just getting going on the marketing phase next.....

Very rewarding experience.With the help and patience of my coaches,I created something of which I am very proud.I am the owner and inventor of a very slick-looking website. The coaches were great,offering insight and encouragement all the time. They goaded me into accomplishing something better than I thought possible and even called me personally when it was needed. The main obstacle I overcame was my lack of computer knowledge.I also learned a great deal about e-mailing back and forth.For myself, these were major obstacles. My advice to future students would be to listen to their coaches and don't be afraid to ask questions, even if they feel dumb when asking them. Never, ever did any of my coaches ever speak down to me or ask why I did not know what I was doing .

Equal to College Education

All of the tutorials and the written information are equal to getting a college education in eBay. There is so much information I'm having go back over all of it multiple times to get it all. My Coach Tyson is making sure I'm understanding what I'm learning and getting the actual steps done on eBay. For me so far, every thing I've learned has been an obstacle overcome. I really didn't know anything about E-bay two weeks ago and honestly didn't care. I've heard many stories of people making money on E-bay but I didn't see it as being something I wanted to pursue. Now two short weeks later I'm selling and buying stuff. I admit it's not rocket science but I wouldn't have done it without taking this course and applying the information I've learned. For which I am very thankful. JUST DO IT. The tutorials and the written information and the fact that you have a person to take you by the hand and get you through it, you can't fail. The only option you have if you take the action is to succeed. It's fun, I've bought one thing on eBay years ago and never really looked at eBay again until I started this course. I'm having fun learning what to do and how to do it. It is so much better to have someone teach what to do than it is to figure it out on your own. I'm planning on spending a lot of time selling on eBay. I've got many more personal things to sell and Tyson has shown me drop shipping sites to find more things to sell. It has been a very good experience to learn how to sell correctly.

Without them pointing me in the right direction I would not have even known where or how to start. They allowed me to view their ads to get a better idea of how to make mine better. They told me where to look for what I need each week to continue. The biggest obstacle of all for me is fear. Not knowing how to do something and therefore doing nothing!!! With the help of my coaches I know I can do this. Just go for it!! The coaches and the material you get with the program make it easier and fun to learn how to build your business. Great coaching. Reviews my things quickly and gives positive feedback on what I have done right and suggestions on what I should fix and work on in future ads. Learning what keywords to use when selling an item and how to put the ads together to make them organized and effective. Stick with it. It gets frustrating at times, but will be worth all of your time and effort. Great so far. Some of the editing of my items should be a little easier but overall very good.

He has given us encouragement and advice by helping us through the program. His advice and help has been very helpful. The process of selling on eBay is not as difficult as it appears at first. With practice and experience you can be successful. The obstacles I have have been learning the listing process, the shipping and service processes and using PayPal for handling payments. Invoicing and just running a business have been challenging but are being managed at this point. With experience we will be able to increase our volume and our income while keeping excellent customer service. Practice, practice, practice. Keep listing items and going through all of the processes. You will get better at it and it will become automatic after awhile. Also you will later learn how to make some of the processes more automatic through other computer programs and more advanced techniques. I think it has been a very positive experience so far. It appears that with the right motivation and work you can make a good living at this.

Lots & lots of information was given to me my my coach, they made listing suggestions to make them better. He answers a lot of questions, and is very very very encouraging.
Some Of my challenges:
A lot to learn but getting part of it figured out.
Having extremely little experience with eBay, just getting started was difficult.
Learning the system, finding products (did not have a clue before the class), getting the business started (legal), having a disappointed customer to work with and get through, having an alert on a customer -- a little trial by fire.
My advice to you is Go For It!

If I can get this going, anyone can!

Going back to "school" can be a great experience, if it's eBay school.

Ben is always there to answer any questions I have. He is very supportive and makes great suggestions. Just an example of why it is important to listen to your coach: I listed 14 Hummels individually in auction format, but started the bid way too high. He told me to drop the starting bid to $.99, which I did, and seven days later I had sold all 14, at awesome prices. If I hadn't listened, I'm quite sure they'd still be sitting there! THANK YOU COACH! Again, LISTEN to your coach. They are there to help, and no question seems to dumb to them. If you do what they suggest, you'll very likely succeed. I'm having the time of my life. It is so rewarding, and not just monetarily. It's exciting to watch the bidding, and very exciting when an item sells. I strive to ship the same day it sells, or the very next day. That has helped my feedback. There is still so much to learn, but every day I feel like I've conquered another challenge.

I think the coaching is fantastic.I would not be ready to market my site without them.Every coach has given me a different perspective on all the facets of effective web design and marketing.I have not made much yet, but I feel very confident that I will do all right with this.All in all,I am very pleased with the advice of people like Andrew,Erika, Ryan, and Joshua. I have had to rebuild and stock my site a couple of times, but it was dealt with by myself and the coaches.They were always straight up with me whether for good or ill. The coaching meets my expectations. I truly feel a part of the team. I feel that everyone that I deal with wants to see me progress successfully and provides positive feedback. I'm sure by the time I complete my website, expectations will have been surpassed. I truly appreciate the efforts of Team 1A and look forward to working through multiple websites together. One challenge for me is feeling isolated and that I had to do too much on my own. I now understand why the program works that way, to make one learn better and retain, but it was a struggle for the first few lessons. It would be good to provide a little more encouragement to future students right off the bat. My biggest success was discovering my niche and creating my website banner. Also, creating the website content and overall mental awareness of how this business works is high on the list as well. The niche and research was the most difficult thus far. My two cents is to stay the course. There will be times when you want to throw in the towel and persistence is key. Whatever one believes can be done!

Ben has been wonderful. He calls when he says he will and is very helpful walking me through the process. I am a hands-on type of learner so him walking me through the different areas on E-bay is very helpful. Procrastination. Since I am given a deadline each week I am encouraged to get my homework done in a timely fashion. Knowing I have to pay the money back to start my business is a great incentive to not "drop the ball". Do what your coach tells you to do. As long as you are on the computer each day you might as well make money. I figured I would make a game out of my selling experiences to make the process more exciting. You cannot sit around and then do your homework at the last minute because it is time consuming so you cannot do it at the last minute. When I was asked to get my eBay score up to 10 I decided instead of buying penny items I would buy things that I actually could use, such as books. The ebooks are very inexpensive and they are something you can use if you are a reader. I have a new Wii so I bid on some games that looked like fun. Good luck. Now I gotta go and post some more things for sale. I am so excited now that I made my first sale. In the situation I am in I need to work from home as I am caring for my elderly parents plus running a cattle ranch with my brother. As most know ranching isn't the most profitable business these days so I need to have an income above the ranching. Working from home was really my only option. I am ready to put several more items up for bid.

Getting to the finish was a relief; a lot of long time and effort went into making what I feel is a very beautiful site; without guidance from the coaches and the men and women in Tech Support, we would not have made it. Finding a niche was difficult; maybe we were not open minded enough, but it took longer than expected; getting good suppliers was time consuming also; I feel we are sitting well today, just need to get the sales coming in. hang in there be patient; if it is worth while doing then it will take time; the one thing i like the most is knowing I have learned so much and the site is mine to work, change, add to, or what ever else as I need to in the future

He has been so encouraging, so helpful, so patient. I wouldn't be to this point without him, and the other people that have answered my sometimes dumb questions. You just get the feeling that they really do care if you succeed, and are willing to do anything to help. I guess learning to research items to know whether they'll make money has been hard for me. Sometimes I don't have the patience to go slowly . . . I want to jump ahead without doing all the "grunt work" first. But I know that if I want to succeed, those steps are all necessary. The more time you spend in preparation of selling, the more successful you will be. Listen to your coach! There's a reason they're coaches. They've been through this process themselves, and they know what they're talking about. Don't get discouraged - hang in there, and you'll see amazing results. He has kept me motivated and offered encouragement. He also helped guide me through the process of setting up my store. He helped me create a plan for my business. I didn't think I was very good at figuring out how to do things on the computer, but I guess I never really tried that hard. (eBay has made things very user friendly though.) The hardest thing for me was finding the uninterrupted time to focus and do my steps. I have two young children at home. I somehow managed though and I have learned so much along the way. This has given me confidence to try new things. After staying home with children for years, I wondered if I was even capable of doing something like this. It really was not that hard to open a store and start selling on eBay. It's been good so far. It is very easy to figure out, thanks to following the steps provided by Focus Learning Center.

I have made $5,139.59 Gross Profit. My coach gave me some tips on suppliers and tips about things that have worked for her and helped in finding the "HOT" product. I have found one (see my gross in the last three days!). My goal is to find more products like that! You will get what you put into this business. Work hard, nothing is free. I have sold Electronics, household items, baby bedding, a variety of things. My experience has been great now that I found a HOT product to sell with a great profit margin!!

We have made 1073.36 gross. The coaching staff continues to be our "cheerleaders" always encouraging us, providing the guidance and direction needed for us to be successful. They are a good team and we need to take full advantage of the expertise. I think the hardest thing is to stay focus on the end goal. Everyone want to make money overnight, but few do. It is a business, and it will take time/dedication to achieve success. You have to learn new business rules and how people think when they bid on item on eBay. It's a whole different game. It is not an easy process..there is a lot to learn. Listen to the coaching staff, set short and long term goals and most of all believe that you can be successful and you will be! My first sale on eBay taught me a great deal! There were two identical listings other than mine, which didn't have the Buy it now option in the auction, and they charged for shipping. I started my bidding a little low, but I also made my buy it now price just under what the other 2 listings had, and offered free shipping. Mine sold, and the other 2 didn't even have bids! I really got immersed in the process, and learned so much about how to use effective keywords and descriptions. (I am a retired stage actress, and I have written many ads and PR pieces, so I took to it like a duck to water.) I loved the support I got and the live chat and my coaches - they made great suggestions and their feedback was invaluable. I really feel confident in going forward with them to back me up and guide me. This is FUN!!!

I have had my 1st sale on eBay!!! My coach, Tyler, has really helped a lot. Whether, it was about how to research a item, or how list your item, or how to list your item with the lowest price for a auction starting at 99 cents he had a huge impact on selling my first listed item. One of my first obstacles was overcoming the lack of computer knowledge, but through my coach, Tyler, and team 2a I overcame that challenge. Secondly, I have always purchased items but never selling. This was a really a learning experience because I thought you just list it on ebAY and that was that. But then again with my online classes and the help from my coaches another challenge was overcome. My words of encouragement are to study hard and join a blog group, which will be very helpful. My coach has been very helpful in the marketing of the products and understanding how eBay works It has been a long time since I attended school and learning a new topic at my almost young age was a little intense at times. I have been frustrated with the amount of information provided and sometimes overwhelmed, but following each step has set me for success. I look at unused and new items differently and I am learning what would sell on eBay. I have not been a big online shopper, so overcoming my bias to that was a small obstacle. When you feel the information is too much, walk away for a moment, get a tea or coffee or water; do another chore, fix some lunch, whatever, just something different than the lesson or eBay or anything on the computer. After a few moments you will look at an object in your environment and wonder if it would sell on eBay, and how much you could get for it. That is the time to go back to studies, you are now ready to absorb more information. Don't give up in the early stages, it is a lot of information, but it will start making sense as you follow the lessons. When you have listed something, do not get frustrated if it doesn't sell. It is easy to get excited when you look at the number of people who have visited your listing and the number of people who may be watching the at closing it doesn't sell. This event can easily deflate your desire to proceed. Call your coach, discuss if there is anything to improve the listing, lower the price etc. Re-list the item, dive in an list a couple more and by the next closing, most if not all your listings will sell. I have been selling Family game and a Nintendo video game. It is a little overwhelming at first. The regulations and processes that eBay has developed to protect the buyer and seller are extensive and pretty thorough. Reading all the policies and procedures is a daunting task. Thank goodness for the summaries and step by step provided by Thrive's lessons and coaches.

Thank you so much for your encouragement and wonderful remarks about our website. I fully realize that it has taken us much longer than the norm to complete our site. Many health issues, surgeries, etc. contributed largely to that as well as many family responsibilities with our grandchildren. But we did it!!
When I got your letter saying that our site has been passed and approved, I was totally giddy. I didn't know how to react, and I just babbled on and on about so many things. I didn't sleep that night because I was too emotional. It has been a long journey getting to this point, and many days I didn't think it was worth it, or that it would ever be done, but your letter was proof positive that we had, indeed, reached that goal. I know full well that we have completed that part only to begin anew in the Marketing Phase, but hey! You guys have taught us to take things one small step at a time, and this was a giant leap of accomplishment!
The Reactive Team has been so patient, so kind, so professional throughout the entire time. I cannot commend them too highly, and I commend you for striving to keep the Team at a high standard. You have succeeded! They are far and above our highest hopes or expectations. Once I began using the Live Chat during the home stretch of having our site completed, it truly did speed things up to utilize the Live Chat. It helped enormously to see things being passed off in a matter of minutes rather than a couple of days like it did when I used the email system. There were times when I'd call them several times a day and just kept moving forward. I'd call them, and then I'd call Technical and learn how to do what Reactive had told me to do, and then get back with Reactive afterwards. It is a great system and I wish I could have done that earlier on. I'm sure I could have, I just wasn't used to doing it.
I've watched several of the marketing videos already - I'd do that while I was waiting for a response to my emails - but truly, I know so little about Marketing, and it feels like I'm beginning another whole new learning curve. It seems so "ginormous" in scope. It's not as simple as "opening up for business", but it is a full-time job just managing the business, improving it, tracking it, linking to others and reaching for the higher goal of getting on page 1 in the search engine results! Now that my website has been up and running for four months, I, probably like most in this time frame, have gained enough knowledge on internet retail websites to know I absolutely did everything wrong from the beginning, and am now an expert on what not to do when starting a new website. I am still gaining knowledge on what should be done.

I have discovered there is money to be made if you make the correct decisions up front, before rushing into everything. I rushed everything because I needed income coming in from the website immediately. Rushing is a huge mistake!

What I have learned is very valuable for the future, while I continue to correct the mistakes I made. The main point is, the system seems to work, but you need to base it on the small picture – your own products, and not the big picture that is discussed. Hard to do, but to succeed, it is a must!

I am starting to get a better ranking on some of my products, Pages 1-2 of google and yahoo. I am starting to see more results from my Adwords, with the help of Advanced Marketing, and I am starting to get a few more sales in because of this. I am working direct with one manufacturer, have had 3 sales in a week, and the profit margin, after all costs, is 50-70%.
Orders and profit received, that’s what makes the hard work and patience to get it right worth while. Profit is why I built a retail website. If I would have done it right from the beginning, I’m sure I would be farther along, but I was in a rush, in a hurry to make money. Just does not work that way.

My gross sales were pretty dismal from June through September, only $1,520 gross sales total. At this point, October is looking up, with $2,250 in gross sales October 1st - 12th. I know the potential for internet income is very good, and I know if I take what I have learned and what I am still learning, I will get there. Patience, continued hard work and social marketing seem to be the key to success.

Thank you so much for your ongoing assistance in teaching me about the various forms of marketing for my e-commerce web sites and blogs. I have been in the “business” for awhile and it surely must be more difficult to work with someone beyond the beginner stage. You have been able to work out a plan that gets past the basics into areas where I can learn new things.
One of my sites, PortableKayaks.com has been growing at a steady rate since it’s inception in 2006. This year we are close to tripling our overall sales (since the year began we’ve grossed well over $100,000.00) and your advice and knowledge has given me the resources to execute a positive plan that I am confident will sustain our growth in the future. Specifically, the FaceBook page that we set up for Portable Kayaks resulted in a sale from a new “fan” within the first month. Other marketing plans are under construction or in the planning stage. Your explanations of the “ins” and “outs” and best practices of Twitter, MySpace, general blogging and other marketing methods have been easy to understand and straightforward. And, when I have questions or don’t understand a concept, you’ve always been able to clarify it clearly.

My First Sale!!!

Hey- couldn't wait to tell you! I got my first sale of a set for $699.99!! After shipping, my profit was $190.26! I also sold a mayan hammock Saturday, my total profit for the day was $215.25. I'm very excited. I spent a lot of time on Friday responding to people who wanted to follow me, and I did the "thanks for following me" thing and added my website. Maybe it came from there - not sure. I'm following over 1060 people and have ~500 following me back. I think that's pretty good, don't you?Added some long-tail keywords to my site - and got a new design in the works for my static banner, along with a new logo and a flash banner....good changes coming! now's the time....new banner/logo, new look!

The Secret To Getting Ahead In The World

I have always wanted to get ahead in this world, and unfortunately I was put in a position that I had not planned on. I was co-signer on a mortgage with a fiancé that walked away, and suddenly I had a mortgage made for 2, with only 1 income. I decided there had to be something out there that I could do from home to supplement my day job, because I didn’t want to work for someone else, it was time to work for me!

I found Thrive after doing lots and lots of research. Like many others out there I was skeptical, but I finally took the plunge. I have learned things that I never thought possible, and now am able to say “I own my own business”. "Im Making Money While Im Learning...!"

Hi Thrive!

We just wanted to send a quick testimony of how our business has been going and give you an update. Since we have been working with Rob in the Marketing Department, our business has taken a dramatic change for the better. Rob has helped me understand Analytics, how to really do a "call to action" and how to get visitors to my site! Our visitors have gone from 50-70 per day to up to 200 per day! I know, crazy stuff! Not only that, but we have had some SamuraiSupply.com t-shirts made and have been giving them as a "bonus" to sales over $150. That added little extra alone has closed an extra 3 sales and something we may not have done for awhile if we had not had the privilege to work with Rob and be able to pick his brain. (there's quite a bit in there!)

Our gross sales are now up to over $5100.00 and we had over 9 orders in August which was great. We know our sales will just keep going up and we are pumped to see what the busy time of fall and Christmas will bring us. Considering we just put our site www.samuraisupply.com on the internet on March 31, 2009, we are doing awesome and I know it will just keep getting busier and busier! We are also just in the final stages of supplying a Canadian business with swords for them to sell in their store. This will be a HUGE customer for us and we look forward to all that being finalized in the next week.

It can be challenging be a stay at home mom of 2 young ones (3.5 years and 15 months old) to be able to do as much as I need to do or want to do at times. I am enjoying this business so much I want to work on it 8 hours a day and there are days I am only able to do a few hours. The fact that I love it so much, makes it not seem like work at all and I am so happy we chose Thrive so that we can have the freedom to still stay home with our boys and still be earning an income and ENJOY IT! In these hard times, to have a job or business that you want to spend more time at and you enjoy doing is quite a blessing and I am very thankful that we were able to find Thrive and start this business which I know will be successful.........heck, it already is!

My husband and I have also enjoyed collecting some of our own sword and have a couple of pictures attached for you to see! One of our favorites is the Bushido Bamboo Pearl Katana (has the black saya) which is just a beautiful sword. So many swords to choose from, so little time!
We just really wanted to thank you for all your help so far and especially to Rob Young in Marketing who has really made all the difference to us and our business since we have been working with him. I look forward to working for him for awhile to come as I still have so much to learn. See, another great thing, I am a beginner at all this and I am actually making money while I am learning.........how can you top that!!!

I Made My First Sale

Hi Guys,I am so excited. Today I made my first sale. Yesterday things were a little complicated with a glitch in the builder. After a few phone calls back and forth with Tech help and Authorize.net we sorted everything out. Finally I called the customer back and he placed the order. I also e-mailed him this morning when I received his order and after I placed the order with River City.

Ben just called from my team one A. You guys really are the A-Team. All of you have helped me so much. Ben is absolutely the greatest. He is patient, kind and so understanding when I don't understand things right away.

Lee from Tech Help was also wonderful. There was a problem with the pricing on one of my products, and Lee was very helpful, and also patient and kind. We old people find computers very confusing so it helps so much when you young folks explain things to us.

Hard Work Pays Off!

My overall experience has been quite different, and what I mean by that is this is something I have never experienced before and am very proud to say that I took this learning experience and life changing opportunity with Thrive a shot. Honestly, I will say that there were many, many frustrations I encountered due to the fact I was completely a novice (with intermediate computer skills) with anything involving e-commerce and website building. The coaches I felt were great, I did experience receiving great coaching with non-haste and patience in explaining and helping me to fully understand all that was being taught to me. Some of the coaches that really stood out to me and I felt really helped me greatly and to better understand everything were Preston and Jarrett. Before coming to Thrive, I tried numerous 'own your own business' plans. Some were more successful than others, but nothing really worked well for me. Since beginning to work with Thrive, I have learned much more about business in general, web business more specifically, than any of the other programs taught me. I now know more about marketing and product niches than before, and much more about keywords, tag lines, etc. than I ever even considered. My business is still small, but continues to grow. My name is Craig W. and I have made 2 sales on eBay for a total of $91! I was surprised how easy it was to find something my family wasn't using at the home and post it on eBay. The coaches provided GREAT critiques and feedback that I feel helped me stand out on the eBay listings. The major obstacle for me was understanding how I can take something from my home and sell it to someone else who would actually use it. The videos about how many people use eBay, how much money exchanges hands on eBay, and so on were really eye opening for me. These first steps on eBay may seem trivial and like you really aren't getting too much accomplished. If you do them and follow through with what the coaches suggest and follow the advice and benchmarks thoroughly, you'll find yourself feeling accomplished even after these little efforts. Hang in there and be excited for what's to come.

This Program Actually Works!

I can' tell you how excited I am working with you! I've tried various other work at home programs and have not been successful with any of them. The promises (from other programs) state that they will help you and will be there for you always seem to be false. This is the first program I've worked with that I have actually made sales and have seen that I can make money! I am only in stage one of this program; however, I have seen more results than any other program I have tried. I started less than a month ago and it is amazing to actually feel that this can work! Of course my first sale was small, but once I became more familiar with how this works the profits are much greater. Thrive Taught Me What I Needed To Know...

I would rate my coaching experience 9 out of 10. The coaches are excellent, the coaches on Team 2B were always helpful, always encouraging, always positive. Finding a supplier is huge. The most wonderful thing was finding a niche. I paid for this sort of coaching and training from another company nearly two years ago and they had me spend a couple of months examining my hobbies and interest, writing pages and pages and pages of lists of things that I liked and then doing web research that was not all that effective. I never found a niche that I could find any products for at all, and they never ever had me check to see how much competition I'd have. You cut through all that nonsense, my coaches convinced me that my hobbies and interests were irrelevant, showed me how to find a niche with enough interest and not too much competition. Brilliant! It was all worth it. If I know how to do all that I can build another web site and another. If it takes six of them to reach my income goal, at least I'll be able to reach it.

What An Amazing Journey!

I started with Thrive in February of this year and it has been a most rewarding journey! I have learned so much from the knowledgeable and patient staff, starting with setting up my business, choosing a niche market and building my website. Couldnt Ask For A Better Program

Dear Team 2C at Thrive:

It was so nice to speak to Preston today. I filled him in on my progress so far, but Preston requested that I document it for all of you and that I try to get it to you today. Here it is, as promised.

I'll start by saying how pleased I am with Thrive and Team 2C's teaching and support. I know now that this is not something you venture into on your own. What I love most is that there's always someone there to reach out to for help; you don't wait long to get a response and you all care so much about the beginner's success. You have devised a program that is absolutely awesome. There's volumes to learn and some days I don't know how I'll get to learn it all, but in time I know I will.

After attending to all the steps to begin; namely, getting set up with selling on Ebay (I had already been a purchaser with excellent feedback); a premier account with Paypal, downloading the necessary tools, beginning with the assignments in Benchmarks on eLibrary (and what a great site that is----loaded with information and tools), I began listing with Ebay and Amazon. With the support of the 2C Team, I am working at fine-tuning the listings, which takes quite a bit of practice, trial and error. (Thanks, Preston, for your emails with plenty of excellent tips on improving my skills at listing, an enormous help.)

All my listings thus far are from many, many items in my apartment which I inherited from an estate. I am trying to list as many per day as time will permit, with the goal of making more and more improvements as I go along. I'm new at this, but I am not discouraged by this as I keep focused on reaching my goals. Right now I am vigorously searching and researching for products to sell and find it to be a most time-consuming as well as challenging endeavor.

I don't know how you match a student with a coach, but you sure did pick a great one for me. I have no doubt all the coaches are wonderful.
